১. To ensure and coordinate the use and application of ICT at the district level of the Government. Implementation of the directives of the Head Office for providing, maintaining and providing support for the creation of appropriate ICT infrastructure in all the offices up to the district level. Transfer of technical and specialized knowledge of information technology to the district level. To take initiative to serve the people in an electronic manner till the grass root level and collect information, distribute and conduct research activities in this regard. Provide assistance on field level equipment, assurance / verification of demand, quality and interoperability. Assist in the preparation of standard specifications for computer networks, hardware and software. Provide research, development and support in the modernization of modern technology at district level.
