Establish computer and language training labs in educational institutions across the country: -
Objectives and Objectives:
Establish specialized computer labs in educational institutions in all the districts of the country in order to expand computer education, create employment opportunities, accelerate efficiency and linguistic skills.
Providing internet connection to selected institute in setting up of local cyber center.
Provide state-of-the-art facilities for using computers to encourage and inspire learning using multimedia at SSC and HSC level.
Creating a technology-based language learning opportunity by setting up labs to accelerate language-dependent freelancing, outsourcing and other competencies.
Activities:
Establishment of computer labs in 2,5 educational institutions in each district of the country.
To create language training opportunities by providing language training software in 4 districts of each district.
Provide training for the training of 5 teachers as teachers in 5 languages ​​(English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Arabic and Chinese).
Turn on Internet connectivity in each lab.
Results / Progress:
This will increase ICT education opportunities at SSC and HSC level and ICT infrastructure will be considered as the most sophisticated computer and language learning labs set up with 25 well equipped and high speed internet.
At the grassroots level, students will also get access to important training on computer graphics and animation, as well as create 5 different necessary language learning opportunities.
Foreign language education will increase the field of freelancing and foreign employment.
The language trainers of the existing language training institute (Dhaka University) will provide training to the six teachers of the selected educational institutes.
Trained teachers will provide training to students and other teachers as master trainers.
Students who have passed SSC and HSC from a computer lab-rich institute will be able to engage in income-enhancing activities through the use of computers.
Nationwide manpower with sufficient computer knowledge will be created.
The existing linguistic impediments to freelancing and outsourcing will be reduced.
Internationally talented youths will further enrich the market for freelancing and outsourcing.
"National ICT Policy-20" has been approved by the Government. The achievement of this project is directly linked to the strategic content of National ICT Policy-20.
